Powering the Quarry

Quarries require Nether Quartz to operate. You can use any fuel in the Blast Furnace. All the energy is used to mine blocks, no byproduct is created. 1 Quartz is enough to mine 8 blocks, so make sure to set up a refill station if you want to get to bedrock!

Quarry vs. Liquids

​The quarry will pause mining if it comes into contact with water, lava, or bedrock. To continue mining, drain the liquid and the process will automatically resume.

Quarries can be placed next to one another, and hoppers can connect all the collection stations to a central chest.
